Rules
The game is FREE to enter
The Game refers only to League positions in the Coca-Cola League One.
The Game may be played by any person, adult or child, but competition for First Prize may only be contested by Registered Players of Temple AFC (any age group). Any Registered player who is de-registered during the season will be voided frrom winning First Prize. Adults and non-registered persons may enter for fun only.
Final date for receipt of entries is 7th September 2007
How to win points
Each team in the table will be awarded 20 starting points. (24 teams x 20 = 480 pts at start of game)
Any team matching exactly that predicted position in the final League positions shall keep all 20 starting points.
Any team finishing 1 place above or 1 place below the predicted position will have 1 point deducted from the 20 starting points.
Any team finishing between 2 and 5 places above or below the predicted position will have 5 points deducted from the 20 starting points.
Any team finishing between 6 and 10 places above or below the predicted position will have 10 points deducted from the 20 starting points.
Any team finishing between 11 and 15 places above or below the predicted position will have 15 points deducted from the 20 starting points.
Any team finishing more than 15 places above or below the predicted position will lose all the 20 starting points.
BONUS POINTS
Any team predicted as finishing in any AUTOMATIC promotion position which does gain AUTOMATIC promotion in any position will earn 10 bonus points.
Any team predicted as finishing in any RELEGATION position which does finish in any RELEGATION position will earn 10 bonus points.
Any prediction which names the AUTOMATIC promotion teams in PRECISELY THE CORRECT ORDER will earn 50 bonus points.
Any prediction which names the RELEGATION teams in PRECISELY THE CORRECT ORDER will earn 50 bonus points.
The player with the highest score, being the sum of all remaining starting points and any promotion or relegation bonuspoints, wins First Prize.
In the event of a tie for first place the tied names shall be entered into a draw where the winner receives the first Prize.
First Prize is a JJB Sports voucher to the value of £10.
The Prize will be awarded during the 2008 Presentation Day.
How to Play
Print off a copy of the League Table above.
In the columns marked 'Team' enter your predicted team for that League position. All available teams are named in the right-hand column. Use each team name once only. Complete your predictions for all the League positions.
Hand in your complete form BEFORE 7th SEPTEMBER
Prediction Change Windows
There will be two change windows during the season. In a change window you may re-arrange your original prediction, if you wish, according to the rules below. The change windows will be; 20th to 31st December and 20th to 31st March.
You can change predictions for up to a total of four teams in each window.
To change your predictions
Removes the names of up to four teams from the table leaving blank spaces where those teams were. Re-arrange the teams you have removed and re-position them into the blank spaces in the table. Do not replace into any other position. Do not re-arrange any more than four teams.
Changes in this manner may be completed once only in each window.
Changed predictions should be forwarded to Phil on or before 31st December and on or before 31st March. Changes received outside those dates will not be accepted.
